History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Thervan was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Marshal. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Marshal and was forced into it by his family; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born to a Layabout, his father struggled to pay the bills. A freak accident while working with his Layabout father left him crippled. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and revenge

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He tends to his Cartwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Aerdeth is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
