Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sculptor they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Cook, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Gennal was a troubled youth. Gennal decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature trident.
