He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Beiro was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His first spouse was a Baker, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His childhood dream was to be a Sellsword, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
