History: Varis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shoemaker. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shoemaker.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble.
