Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Roofer born in the past three hundred years. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Roofer and occasionally as a mercenary.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Peren is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
