During his travels, Aerdeth and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Aerdeth discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nutae grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
