History: Paelias lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized topaz on his left hand. He wears a colorful flower in his golden hair. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He is an amazing painter.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Body Guard. He struck the Body Guard job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He wears a green vest and prefers black and grey shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. He is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around his ears. He is baby faced.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Naeris was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Naeris liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He has all his life been fascinated with poetry.

History: The child of a Cook, who enjoyed hunting, Ahvain was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and wants to open a new tavern
