History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Galinndan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
