To get what you want from life, you must take it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. After coming to the age of reason, Erdan took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland.
