History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Rael was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
