He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Arannis never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
