History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rolen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: Standing 5'5", this man dresses like a well dressed Merchant does. He has a red handlebar mustache and slicked back red hair. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Mindartis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Mindartis liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He became a Merchant soon after.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Ruler business.

History: Vanuath was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a grey tunic with yellow highlights, and long white pants that bunch up around his shoes and is in decent physical shape. His moppish golden hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tharivol grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tharivol. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Shepherd for the past few years.
