When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Gennal took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greataxe and armor he uses now. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Lucan lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He worked as a nervous Carpenter and found it very stressful. He tends to his Carpenter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and sabotage a competitor

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He tends to his Laborer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.
