History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Now he works as a painting tutor during his time off.

He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His chestnut hair is still thick. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Gifted from a young age, Raer studied abroad. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Raer fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He got into the Bricklayer business at a young age. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: He got into the Knight business at a young age. A freak accident while working with his Animal Trainer mother left him crippled. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Knight for hire.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and balancing his hectic life and new knight responsibilities is difficult
