History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theren. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theren fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Navigator. He's also a talented Bather, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Soapmaker who has hired him part-time. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire.
