Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Laucian was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Dyer. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
