History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Raer was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Raer's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Glassblower hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
