History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.
