History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Rael was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Uthemar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Uthemar. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature trident.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: The child of a Layabout, who enjoyed hunting, Hadarai was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gifted student he started as a Layabout, but he got bored and became a Ploughman. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ploughman for the past few years.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Aelar has worked very hard to control his curse. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to get a good night's sleep
