His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sellsword. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Shipwright who has hired him part-time. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. At a young age his mother died while driving off some gnolls. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in longsword use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
