History: He is a Doppelganger in disguise. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
