He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Mindartis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mindartis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mindartis. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
