History: Varis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bounty Hunter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Ploughman, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Halimath was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Caeldrim embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He takes great joy in being the best Adventurer in town.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Adventurer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Adventurer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Himo is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A freak accident while working with his Stableman father left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Riardon speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. Riardon is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
