History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Personality: He is a Miller first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Being a Miller kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He got into the Cartwright business at a young age. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Dreali alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He became a Cartwright soon after.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Aramil has worked very hard to control his curse. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
