History: Berrian was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Peren was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
