History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Tharivol was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Being a Mercenary kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to clean up the streets

History: Naal hails from a village terrorized by giants. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
