He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. The war was a terrible time for him, and Rolen does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He got into the Ruler business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ruler. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
