History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Caeldrim fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

When Vanuath reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
