Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new doctor responsibilities is difficult

The war was a terrible time for him, and Naeris does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Gifted from a young age, Naeris studied abroad. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Hadarai was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Born to a Miller, his father struggled to pay the bills. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
