History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Shepherd arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Gifted from a young age, Quarion studied abroad. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Being a Map Maker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored.
