History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Suhnae alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the east to a Barber, Naal learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Barber and was forced into it by his family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
