History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has achieved small success as a Barber.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and balancing his hectic life and new barber responsibilities is difficult

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Stylist. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it
