Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Peren grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Through the years after Peren was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Peren's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Theriatis abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: He was born in the north. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Theriatis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born in the north to a Miller, Thamior learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Miller and found it very stressful. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
