History: Aramil lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He takes great joy in being the best Brewer in town.

History: Raer was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Raer took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up trident and armor he uses now. He became a Brewer soon after.
