Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Heian does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. When Heian reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Description: An older man who wears baggy brown pantaloons and a red scarf, he is not a threatening figure. His brown hair has been sun bleached extensively. His violet eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Rael will drive conversation. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Rael was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Rael's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Locksmith and was forced into it by his family; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Lamlis was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To end his boredom.
