He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Varis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Varis. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and doesn't want to be a merchant and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and money/treasure
