Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty white coat over it. He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. Peren was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Peren decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
