History: Rael lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has achieved small success as a Mayor.

Description: He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress), but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 4'9" when asserting himself. Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Varis embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He takes great joy in being the best Soapmaker in town.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Varis reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He struck the Soapmaker job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Halimath was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
