History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Dyer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Scribe, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Barber but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in the south to a Barber, Rael learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Soapmaker, but he got bored and became a Barber. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
