History: Born in the north to a Scribe, Heian learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He became a Scribe soon after.

Description: He wears a brown vest and prefers tan and red shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He is portly but not overly obese. He wears his auburn hair down. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 77. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a shield on his belt. His hair is long and black with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His violet eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Farmer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
