History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Heian took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up scimitar and armor he uses now. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Heian was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Azaki was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Azaki's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Azaki never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He tends to his Stableman job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to reunite with his old friends
