History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears a white vest and prefers green and white shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has a black handlebar mustache and slicked back black hair. His fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Ahvain lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: He is a Blacksmith first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Adran enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. After coming to the age of reason, Adran took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Blacksmith for hire.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he is greedy
