History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Laucian was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Beggar. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
