Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Varis took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.
