History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Tharivol was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. After a long history of fighting, Tharivol and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and seeks redemption

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. The war was a terrible time for him, and Varis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Revenge; and he wants revenge against giants

Personality: He is a Seamstress first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He tends to his Seamstress job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and regain custody of his daughter
