History: Raer lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
