History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Raer grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Raer. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thervan grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Marshal born in the past three hundred years. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Marshal business.

History: He was born into a rich family. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
