History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Naill was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Naill was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Naill's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Theriatis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. After a long history of fighting, Theriatis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
