He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his greataxe with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His red hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Varis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Locksmith arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: He wears suspenders and brown workpants. His shirt is white, and he wears a heavy brown leather apron most of the time. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his bastard sword, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a cross on it. He is bald on top and has large red tufts of hair around his ears. He has brown eyes.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Born to a Dilettante, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Peren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Peren. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Description: This slender man stands about 5'5". He wears a brown vest and prefers black and pastel shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Rolen hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Rolen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Elven culture. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. He tends to his Map Maker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Traki was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Traki's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Traki and his spouse have recently divorced.
