History: Born to a Sailor, his father struggled to pay the bills. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Personality: Arannis wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Arannis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now mingles about in high society.
